A business case for digital marketing

Let them know you are open for business

According to a McKinsey study[1], small businesses that make use of the web are growing twice as fast as those that aren’t on the web. Just as businesses that embrace the web grow faster, communities whose businesses embrace the web grow faster as well.

The Internet is a great leveller, let's use it to our advantage.

Shopping habits have always evolved, the only difference now is the pace and nature of these changes. We all have access to the tools and experience to be able to benefit from these changes and take advantage of the web. Side Street Advantage has been set up with the aim of helping independent businesses meet the challenges of increasing competition from multiple sources including high streets and on-line to realise the benefits that the web can bring.

The easiest way to start could be with a Google My Business and/or Facebook profile.  Customers will be able to find you if you have an up to date profile.  Google My Business is a free resource where you can have your business name, your products and services, contact details, opening times and location at your customers fingertips.

The Internet is here, let's use it to our advantage.

Like most people, Side Street Advantage cares about our local high streets, even more we care about independent local businesses both on and off the high street. Using our experience in local and digital marketing is ensuring that on and off high street businesses maintain their place in the hearts, minds and shopping baskets of their customers as well as maintain the vibrant diversity of our landscape.
